Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. We do not store a separate copy of those queries on our servers. A message sent to us contains only what the sender chooses to provide, and we use that information to answer the inquiry.
Information Logged Automatically
Our hosting systems record routine technical details such as IP address, browser type, visited pages, and time of access. Aggregated logs help diagnose faults and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How We Use Information
Technical and submitted data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, page improvement, and direct replies. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy Beyond Our Pages
Links lead to government databases, records custodians, libraries, and outside search services. Their privacy terms control any data entered there. Sponsored search results also come from a third party, so visitors should read that provider’s policy before submitting a query.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete site-held personal data depend on where a visitor lives. The research for this project found no enacted omnibus North Carolina consumer privacy law that creates a universal deletion right, so we do not promise one. We can still check our contact mailbox and retained logs for a reasonable request sent through the Contact page. Morrisville, Wake County, Durham County, and state public records remain under their custodians’ laws and procedures.
